Since the Nerf This Book is finally coming out in a month, I’ve always wondered how a Scout book would do, if I did, it would be the 1st 100 pages, but I’m dreading thinking if it would sell.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I’m sure you have enough fans that your book will sell.

This is the best comic I have read so far, update more often, I want to know how it ends!
I know an independent comic company that may be willing to help with distribution, at least in Florida and digitally (Amazon, comixology, etc) but the early pages would need to be redrawn in your current style. I brought up contacting you about it last year, but they were too swamped then. Now, they distribute for a UK comic and another indy friend.
So do pre-orders or a kickstarter to gauge the interest. If there is not enough interest yet then put it on hold until you build a larger following for Scout, then try again. Once there is enough interest then you’re good to go.
Here’s another vote for a Scout Crossing book. This is such an awesome story… more! more!

Haha, thanks, glad you’re looking forward to it, but I wouldn’t hold your breath just yet. The Nerf books will be in soon, and then I’ll start shopping around for Scout quotes.

I’ll admit I’m on the edge for Scout Crossing more than anything else I read, MORE I MUST HAVE MORE
So let me get this straight; the magic ink needs blood from a crossing to be stable? Without his blood, the ink starts to rot the wearer like a parasite. Is Dillinger an example of the consequences? Finally, when the kings killed Scout’s brother (whose name escapes me), they also stole the ink, but was it unfinished? If someone clears this up for me, i would very appreciate it.
That’s a very, VERY good summary of it. The story hasn’t revealed what went wrong yet (which will soon be cleared up). Hope that helps a little 🙂
Considering it took 2 – 3 years for the Kickstarter Nerf This! book to come out [still hasn’t even been delivered yet], better get a head start on the Scout book. Maybe create a poll gauging interest in buying a Scout book or maybe combine Scout, Nerf This!, and Motokool into 1 book in the future, since updates are so slow.
I’d buy Scout Crossing over Nerf This! in a heartbeat. I’d settle for just seeing updated semi regularly, it’s by far my favorite of your comics.
you always apologize for your art but it only ever improves, I guess that’s perfectionism for you, loving the comic, and I would buy a hundred copies of the book if it became a thing!

Seriously, please update more. I would but a book of this if only so that I could help contribute to you updating this more, I love N-T, but scout took my heart, showed it adorable animals and then drugged it. You keep it chained up when you don’t update. In a basement. Malnourished. Please update. Make a book, take my money, ask me to promote for you, just for god’s sake update.
If I had to choose between more Scout Crossing and more Nerf-This I would choose Scout Crossing. For that reason, I’d buy a book.
