Phew, I started a new schedule where I can output a little more time in a day to comics, so far I’m a few days into it, and it’s working pretty well. So please enjoy this page, because the next page… well… stuff goes down of the crap quality D:

Augh, you’re making Penny too damn cute, what am I even supposed to do with thiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssss.
Also, awesome work. I know you were trying for a while to distinguish between the art styles of your different comics (with varying degrees of success), but it seems like you’ve streamlined all that and gone with a different coloring dynamic, instead, as far as my untrained eye can tell. Or maybe that’s just the flashback.
Either way, I like the aesthetic you’ve got going in Scott right now a lot. It suits the atmosphere of the strip.

I simply adore the artistic direction you’ve taken, not to mention the story on SC. I love NT and MK too, but I get really hyped over Scout. My alltime favourite webcomic, and I read a loooot of them. Great job, Scott. You’re one of my personal favourites and biggest inspirations. Once I get my own comics archived and running, I’ll definitely make certain to point my readers your way. This stuff is pure gold. Please don’t ever stop!

The Quallity of this one is just amazing and i love how the Artstyle changed.

Is the bright light in the last pannel (which is AWESOME) supposed to signify the next part of the flashback, or is that the sign of him waking up after the ass kicking Finn handed to him thus causing said flashback? XD

I guess I can see that, but a couple of pages make me think it actually is somebody who hasn’t been introduced (and may never be).
Here, from what we know about Penny, it doesn’t exactly seem like she’s the type to have a seat in her own establishment she would particularly enjoy lounging in during business hours; but more importantly, here, Scout’s clearly very surprised and a little upset seeing her, which doesn’t seem like a reaction he’d have if he was expecting her to be there, and had gone there specifically to see her.
It’s possible, of course, but it seems a bit unlikely to me.

I had to start this over from the beginning, to keep myself in a “big picture” check. Keep it up, man…can’t wait for the next one. BTW, looking back at page one and working back to this one, your art style has come by leaps and bounds. People, if you haven’t done so, check it out!
Second to last panel kills me. Penny is just… adorable there!
I love your comic, but I can’t help but notice, now that I’ve seen Nerf This too – a lot of your characters have really similar hair (and mustaches!). Is that intentional? Obviously Scout and Chance look alike, but then there’s that black-haired tough that Ruggles beat up, and in Nerf This there’s Chance and Aiden…but Chance has a cow lick. Even Penny has that similar short-haired forward swoosh. Honestly, when I saw Aiden, I thought for a second she was Penny with black hair.
Though I thoroughly approve of your use of mustaches.
