Hey everyone,
I’m really sorry for the delay on my sites. I’ve moved recently, and it hasn’t been easy, and I know this sounds tacky, but the transition has been a fairly miserable process on a few fronts. For maybe the first time since I’ve started creating comics, I’ve found out that I suck at trying to write humor/drama/anything feeling like this (see, I said it’s tacky!). I promise that things will get back on track, I just getting my head straight.
In the meantime I hope you enjoy this poor single page D:

Scott, seriously, your writing is excellent and your off-kilter sense of humor is almost the entire reason I read your comics (the art also rating high). Take whatever time you need to get your head straight and keep up the excellent work.

See, the thing about these breaks is when you come back, it’s usually one of the most epic pages of the given series. This is absolutely no exception, sir. Keep up the good work, and don’t worry about us. We’ll be here for every poor single page!
You just have the artist curse, never good enough for you xD If anything Nerf This’s earlier years have so much humor and your art abilities and style have become so much stronger, everything you do in these comics are just so you as well. Drama, we’ve been on the edge of our seats for months waiting for a page like this and not a single one of us are disappointed in it

I got goosebumps at the last two panels. Have I ever mentioned how absolutely terrifying Finn is? Like, if he told me to bend over like the gutterslut I am, I’d do it, trousers down, no complaints or whimpering for fear of retribution.

he sounds like what i did to a feral that killed my cat, at first it ran up to me all friendly then i noticed blood on its muzzle, went in the backyard and found my cat dying.. dog got what he deserved
(This is one of the most epic moments in not only this series, but in most things that I’ve seen or read. The power behind Finn’s simple yet relatable sentiment is immense. This was good.)
Oh I would hate to be that tatoo artist right now, no matter how powerful he is. I think Finn has been planning this for a while, he probably has a tunnel leading out of there by now, waiting for this moment.
It’s everyone’s plight to take in Finn’s stride. If you don’t, you’re not worth existence.

I have never even thought about contributing to a kickstarter or patreon campaign in my life on the internet but I would legitimately pay more money that I am willing ot admit to make this story continue.
Scott, you are juggling three major storylines (Nerf This, Scout Crossing and Motokool), as well as the Dapper Finery journal comic. You have skills that too few people care to develop, and you present them in a way that is absolutely epic.
We can understand when things get crazy, you have to step back and tackle the problems first. That’s cool with us. If something goes on in life, you should deal with that first. If we are to ask anything of you, it’ll probably just be something like “Let us know you still exist”. We care like that sometimes.
I think Motokool’s pretty much dead (even though it was probably the most interesting).
That aside, this comic rules, take your time.
