Sorry about the word heavy page, but I suppose Scout needs to at least be slightly filled in to current events. Hell, everyone does 😉 I’m trying some new things with shading and lighting, hoping it’s turning out as least halfway acceptable, because I still have gallons to learn yet D:

I super double plus love plot heavy pages like this. I know they can’t all be like this, but don’t feel like you need to apologize when the story progresses in this way. Just take a bow. Also, what happened to Motokool? I fucking loved the few pages of that comic I have seen. Dude with the beast arm is a baus. Probably. I don’t know yet.

The work you do is amazing man! The way you keep stepping up your skills is a seamless transition. Your tweaks on the light and shadow balance really makes the facial expressions pop.

Other people in the comments are kind of candid about it so I suppose it’s not a spoiler. At 4 in the morning yesterday it seemed like a huge one though. But I don’t want to say it directly just in case.

Dude, the shading all around is great, what’s AMAZING is that last panel, i keep getting drawn back to his face, had to stare for a solid minute to confirm that his teeth were actually there. That, is some heavy art.

I’m a little confused… didn’t Finn already explain *why* the evil guys are after Scout? Or does Scout still just not get it?
I think he’s wondering why they seem to be ONLY after him, and not Penny and Finn too. Although, after this convo it seems they are after Finn as well, only he’s managed to protect himself somehow by staying in his shop.

This really should be in a book. I’m amazed an indie publisher hasn’t picked it up. Truly great work!
I love your work, Scott! I just can’t stand checking back 3 times in a month to see the same piece of the story up with nothing new. It’s been amazing seeing your artwork and the story line progress from where it started, and seeing you always getting better, but I know that I speak for the whole SC community when I say we want more Scout. I would love to see a progressive story line instead of snippets every month where I feel like I have to read the last 10 comics just to put it into context. It feels very fragmented and hard to follow, but I really do believe that there are amazing and unexplored places that this thing can go, and I know we all want to see that.
We love you and Scout so much, maybe too much, but it is what it is 🙂
