Finn looks super bad ass in the third to last panel, I like how you did the colors.

haha, I would have described it the same way, I really don’t know what I’m doing with the colors, I’m just kind of scribble and run in circles (taking breaks only to eat fruit rollups)
I’m more of a gushers woman myself, though I can respect the rollup choice.

My cat loves fruit rollups, and gushers. She will maul you for them.
Either way, keep up the whole fruit roll up-run in circles scheme you’ve got going. It really works for you.

You Guys Have It All Wrong, Fruit Leather Is Where It Is At, It’s Like A Fruit Roll Up, But Without Feeling Like A Child.
Yes, but it also feels like your eating leather…. made out of fruit.
Sunrype fruit bars is where it’s at…It’s like a fruit roll up that you can actually bite into, not just a thin sheet that annoyingly sticks to the roof of your mouth. They are packed with flavour!
i’m super confused, but i’m sure there’s no helping that until back story happens.

scout got mistical tatoos that spawn feathers and explosions, and he got that from a drunk guy with completely white eyes and a dead shark as a weapon.

Man… fighting with a shark. That had got to be the most bad-ass thing anyone has ever done.
The last panel, Finn’s face brings up the question: “Where does the shark end and the man begin?” It’s terrifying and awesome at the same time.

Either The Relationship Between Those Facts Is An Accident Or You, Scott, Are More Clever Than Any Of Us Already Give You Credit For.
I feel for both Scout and Finn here. They both lost someone and their reactions have been almost like two sides of the same coin, Scout tried to run from his fear of hurting someone or being hurt again by ‘fading’ into the background as Finn pointed out before. Finn has faded into a bottle while fueling his rage and bitterness.
I love how honest this comic is when dealing with the topic of grief, I feel it seething under the skin of almost every conversion people have. Like they’re always biting something back even when it seems like they are saying the worst they could say.
I really enjoy how fighting here is a deeper metaphor for the types of verbal and emotional fighting we do in ‘the real world’ on a day to day basis. And how sometimes it’s a fight with a douche who we don’t know but hate on sight (see the first two fights) and how sometimes it’s a fight with someone we used to or still do love. (see Finn)
My heart has been breaking for Scout for awhile now and somehow I figure over the back story it will only keep breaking.
