Dude, what do you guys want from scout? Of course he didn’t do anything, he’s been a broken shell of a man for I don’t know how many years (I’d have to check, but a substantial number I’m sure). That’s not gonna go away just because he saw a parrot beating up on a bear. Regardless of whatever this ink power is going to turn out to be, he’s been fumbling about waiting for death to take him due to survivors guilt and an opportunity has come to let it happen. Like what? Have we entered a world where everyone who can’t be qualified as evil (and thus is good) starts to act completely out of character and become some berserker superhero the moment an acquaintance is in danger. Because that’s what Liz is to him, he doesn’t allow himself to have friends, doesn’t feel he deserves them.
loving the comic so far, it’s epic and rather inspiring. also just a thought but why not set up an irc (more than happy to do it) so we can discuss Scout crossing and other stuff? just a thought
This comic keeps making me so sad in my heart 🙁 But even if it makes me a horrible person, I’d rather see Penny possibly die than watch Scout get beat up anymore. If he doesn’t start kicking some arse soon, I might have to reconsider that though. (ps I’m officially up to date!)
