hey Scott if you ever have bad things happen to you or just any negative emotions, do you let them out with your art or do you have other means of releasing stress? sorry if it seems personal but i kinda struggle with it and i wanted the advice of someone accomplished ^_^
No, it’s not personal at all, but art really a way to deal with stress for me, it might be an escape slightly, but it’s also my career/profession. I have other ways of dealing with stress, like coffee, and living in the deep woods of Pennsylvania, and an awesome dog 🙂 It takes a lot for me to be stressed though.
I’m not sure if I’m really accomplished yet, but I feel that I’m getting closer to reaching my goals as the weeks pass by 🙂
Dont sell yourself short man, you have cultivated some of the most original story and artwork i’ve ever seen. its pretty impressive the way you straddle the realistic interpersonal relationships and the surreal plot and characters and fill your comics. trust me dude, if accomplishment is measured but happiness of your readers and the art you have produced, your golden. and this is coming from a caffeine addicted cynic so you know its from the heart 🙂

Hey, do you have any tutorials or e-streams on how you do your coloring. I think it’s fantastic and would love to see your process. =D
I do on rare occasions use ustream, which I’m switching to Livestream. I can’t do a broadcast at home because I have a VERY slow wireless speed, but when I do broadcasts, I always announce it in twitter, and facebook 🙂

I love the colours and I’m really excited to see tattoo origin guy + story!! And I just realised, you don’t do many long-haired main characters…or I overlooked them…

Hah! Honestly, it’s a really long (awkward) story, but after that, I’ve never really liked long hair, BUT this is the first chapter where I’ll have to draw hair that’s long, ridiculously long!
