Honestly man, I love the story and the art, but get your shit together. You only post one update every few months and you always say “oh, i’m so sorry that it looks terrible”. Maybe your ego needs constant stroking, but the fact that people put up with your atrocious update schedule should be enough praise for you.

One of the greatest comics I have had the fortune to stumble across. Watching the art e love with the story is one of the great joys of webcomi vs and Sc0tticus appears to show so much pride in his work. Thank you sir for sharing this with us all.

Maybe Scout and his brother aren’t affected by the ink because it is their blood. Their blood has some kind of crazy magical properties when applied in a specific way. And these other tatted people that killed scout’s brother did it to steal his blood! Only after the fact did they realize it would kill them too.

Thank you for writing! No, I haven’t killed the comic, I’ve taken on a few projects for writers in the past year which has left me with little time so I’ve been updating Nerf and dapper finery mostly in between. The last 2 weeks I have penciled out 3 scout pages so I imagine they will start uploading in the next week or two.
I slightly wrote myself I a corner so I went back to the drawing board to figure that mess out, and I think I’ve found a decent solution. Again, thank you cornerstone and sorry about the dust on this site and there will some some new things soon 🙂

While I like the art changes you’ve made on Nerf This, I’m not sure that style would work so well for this story. In fact, one of the primary reasons I keep coming back to Scout Crossing is the art you used for the last run of pages.
sigh, i know the comic isn’t dead, just slow goin’ but man so many months of anticipation can really take a toll on a person’s enthusiasm. i know you have other comics and real life to contend with, but once in a while…when you get one of those serene moments of peace, clarity and inspiration do you think you can maybe consider showing Scout some love? take your time, we’ll be here.

I miss this comic so much. It was one of my first online comics and to see it at a standstill breaks my heart. I can’t ask you to continue something your heart may not be in, but I will say that I hope this comic is one day brought back to life.
Please tell me he is not dead?! This comic needs an end asap. Kinda reminds me of freak angels very good artistry and the story is very personal and not just kicking the shit out of shit
