Sorry everyone, I truly wanted to get this up on Friday, but this post took much longer than I thought. This is also the very first post (since I attempted it in the first post) that Scout Crossing is drawn completely digitally. I hope you all like it so far, and thank you for your support (you guys would kill sperm whales with awesomeness).

The little link back to the first comic prompted me to go back and re-read the whole thing, it’s awesome to watch the way you’ve honed in on such a cool style for this comic with such great characters. Always just as excited to see this updated as Nerf, keep up the great work. Go Scout!! ^_^

So I couldnt help but notice, and shoot me if I’m wrong, but it seems to me Scouts tattoos are growing over him in the same way the “curse seal” in Naruto does. Two ways I can see this going, first is that this does in fact share a similar function as in Naruto and when he’s fully covered his power is doubled/tripled/etc… Second way is this is just a direct representation of his anger, a sort of visual gauge that lets everyone know that hes about to mess some sh*t up.

PS. sorry for draggin Naruto into this, dont hate me ><

  Well, from what I can tell is the tattoos themselves represent a result of his attack, for example the feathers grew out to his neck and out of the bulls eye, and wind is swirling all around his fist, and the bombs, well, in the next panel there’s an explosion, I think different tattoos represent different powers, rather than Scout simply being stronger.

    If you actually notice, on his fist, the bombs’ fuses are lit, meaning that they actually are exploding when he hits the guy in the face.

Holy shit this is Awesome! The eyes the feathers the bombs. Whatever the heck that stuff is going on behind him, looks as if he tore a rift in the fabric of reality opening up a gate to the angry feather dimension. This satisfies me deeply.

Also, kudos to Katastrophe. You totally called this, as did a couple other people by the sounds of things. Anyway everyone who knew this was coming give yourself a pat on the back.

    I’d prefer a “Make A Bomb In The Kitchen Of Your Mom” by the Dead Kennedys, Napalm Death – “Victims of a Bomb Raid”, “Paris sous les bombes” – NTM (best french rap album ever), “Bombs below” – Living things or LFO demon’s “Bomb club”.
    Even one of my bands has a title called “bonben im bauch”… I think that outside bomb thema (this thread will be a fed security’s favourite) we could go with a “Burn Berlin Burn” by ATR, “Picardian Fight Song” by Xnoybis or a “Ecce lex” by Nostromo…

Gorgeous art, but I really hope you’re right about the story moving along. You’re still sort of treading in Scott Pilgrim territory, and the world really only needs one SP. Looking forward to what comes next!

  I assure that this won’t be Scott Pilgrim, but it will include hipsters, post punk, scene kids, duck faced girls, pretentious grad students, etc, etc… but i promise I won’t throw in sub space highways, canada, and evil exes This story wil lbe a bit darker than that. And while I do plan on updating twice a week very soon, I need to get caught up on freelance deadlines and such.

Not interested in starting a war over this, thanks. I like the comic, the artwork is excellent, but between the hipsters, Hipster VS Hipster battles, Six Evil Somethings, etc, it does smack of SP. It’s not an insult, just an observation.
