My stomach dropped a little when I saw pannel two.
Also how have they not been kicked out yet?
http://lawlscomic.com Joenis
It’s an indie coffee shop, I’m sure they have hipster feuds go down quite often; their used to it.
Scotticus
I’m not sure how they haven’t been kicked out yet, it’s either acceptance of what happened, or maybe something else, but that will be explained soon
Sunnynoms
Well, look at the floor. See those big red splotches? This is obviously where they hold indie fight club.
MrAlt
I feel like Indie FIght CLub would consist of no fighting, though. More like smashing each others vinyl collection and seeing who gives out first.

EPICCC!!!

Why are you so good at writing douchebag characters? Its a little unnerving. Also, I wanted to comment on the last comic about the broken hair. J’adore.
Scotticus
haha thank you! I don’t know why I can write antagonists with ease, I was thinking “what would make everyone like Laylor less”, and thought he should slap Liz
http://lawlscomic.com Joenis
It’s cos Scott’s a douche bag. duh.
Scotticus
I’M SORRY

FFFFFFFFFFFFFF
ACTION ANGLESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Scotticus
I love drawing action angles!
Amybear
I felt a severe dislike for Laylor ever since he first popped up but as soon as he slapped Liz, I wanted to go Gun Hoe Woman at him!
Also, I never commented about it before, but I also love that fact that his hair *broke.* Very nice!
matt
forget the wham bam in the batman comics degrading is a sooo much better sound
Icarus
*is addicted to these comics.*
All I could think when he slapped Liz was that I’d want to stand outside the area of retribution that induced. Say, the next block over.
Mitch
Now I know he’s made a fist, but I’m hoping he pulls out the elbow on laylor, that thing looks razor sharp
Dani
I’ve been following this comic from the beginning now and I love it! The only reason I’m commenting is because I just can’t help myself… Is that a ‘Say Anything’ band poster in the background I see?
AWESOME if it is!
Scotticus
haha, thank you, I’m really happy you like everything so far, and yes, that is a Say Anything poster in the back, has been one of my favorite bands for quite a few years now.
oblivionjones
Wow, this DOES look really great! (not that I was expecting it not to) Also, the thought of Scout getting violent def puts me in a tizzy
*whimpers* this comic is so great it hurts me to wait for an update…. but… it’s so great that i check back daily for them too
Scotticus
I hope it doesn’t hurt terribly bad, but I’m happy to say I’m posting today

AHHH. I just started reading these today, I love the style the comic has, it’s really awesome.
I really like how Laylors hair is ‘broken’ haha, and that malicious grin in panel three is really intense.
Circle98
wow, it took me this long but I just realized:
this is Scott Pilgrim. It’s either a knockoff, a ripoff, or a seriously detailed homage.
emilie rox
breaks my heart seeing this, i guess you haven’t read this comic then, it’s quite different, especially in the more recent pages
Circle98
I didn’t say it was bad. just that it’s pretty much the same idea (so far).
Scotticus
No no, you were completely honest in your opinion, and I believe you shouldn’t be berated for that. I’m very well aware of that there are similarities, but I hope you stick with me (and the story) to see Scout Crossing evolve into something else entirely
mandaara
Scout officially has the flattest butt EVER <3 I find him so much more adorable then stupid Laylor-face. Your comics are all freaking awesome *showers with rainbows, stars and unicorns of happiness*
Scribeknight
I love the whole broken hair thing that made my day.
